Download Kernel patch
Here's what I do:
> FTP SAPSERV3 (ip address is 147.204.2.5)
user > FTP
pwd > <your email address>
CD general/R3server/patches/rel46D/OS400/V4R4M0
you'll see messages regarding what patches are available, including the
following message.
250- ***********************************************
250- I M P O R T A N T P A T C H N O T I C E
250- ***********************************************
250-
250-Kernel from CD with number 51014013 or 51014168 has to be used
250-before you can install any patches.
250-Kernel patchlevel delivered with these CDs is 543.
Look at your current kernel CD. If it is not one of the ones mentioned
above, I believe your only choice is a new cd.
Look at your patchlevel - DSPDTAARA <kernel-lib>/KERNEL. The last 3
digits tell you your current patch level.

Where can I go to download the latest 46D Kernel Patch?
Couldn't find it on <http://service.sap.com/swcenter>

SAP Note 0049365 tells me to connect to SAPSERV via ftp but that doesn't
seem to work. (unless I need special authorization or I'm typing it
wrong).
Does someone have a link I could follow? It has to be available
somewhere else than ordering a CD.
