Thanks Volker,I deleted the index and it worked perfectly.
That's what I figured I must do when consulting note 0147720 but since this
note is 2.5 years old I wanted to double check before deleting anything.

did you check the joblog of your job where SAPLICENSE was executed ?
I assume there to be SQL-errors in. Is it perhaps a duplicate key or a
duplicate name of this index or file below ?
You could check with
wrkobj mlich* *file
there you should only find MLICHECK and one index. The index could be
deleted, this should become created here. Then try again.
