Connection trough OSS

Hi saplings,

Were in the middle of implementing SAP and want to get live by the end
of this year.
We don't have a direct connection from our SAP production server towards
SAP.
I was told that this is a must for our going live check and strongly
advised to be installed when you go live.

We have a direct connection towards the internet installed at our LAN.
Can anyone give advice on what actions we should take to establish the
above mentioned link? Can anyone give advice on the method of connection
we should use and why (i.e. should we install a isdn modem; can we use
our current internet connection,.)?
We're at release 4.6 C on V4R5. Our provider is Belgacom.
