Porting from from AS/400 to AS/400
Hi Andi,
This is the instructions we put together from a 4.6C Homogenous system copy
which used CD51010778; are you 100% sure that the files are not somewhere on
CD51014168?
Installing the TARGET SID on BALLHAV (pg 5-3 thru 5-4)
6. Logon as QSECOFR
7. Load SAP kernel CD into drive
8. LODRUN OPT01 DIR('/OS400/AS400/INSTALL')
9. ADDLIBLE R3SETUP (was already in library list)
10. 1 - Copy Installation Files from CD
11. Enter SID & CD mount point where the template files for R3SETUP reside on
the installation kernel CD as /QOPT/CD51010778/OS400/AS400
12. The following template files are copied to directory /tmp/<SID>
a. CENTRDB.R3S; CENTRAL.R3S; DATABASE.R3S; DIALOG.R3S; GATEWAY.R3S; DBR3CP.R3S;
DBEXPORT.R3S

Hi All,
we are trying to port a 4.6B (4.6D Kernel) from a 720 to a new 840.
we are following the instructions for a Homogenous System Copy, and
we are trying to get the *.R3S files to begin the system build.
they are not on the Kernel CD (or at least we cannot find them) we
are using CD51014168..
anyone know where I can get the template files :
CENTRDB.R3S
CENTRAL.R3S
DATABASE.R3S
DIALOG.R3S
GATEWAY.R3S
DBR3CP.R3S
DBEXPORT.R3S
from????
