Deleting unused indexes to save space. Is it safe ?
Hello all.We have a bit of an ongoing disk space problem.
From running RTV and PRT DSKINF I can see table OBJK is nearly 12 % of the
total R/3 DB size. (JCDS is even bigger!!)
It has a number of indexes each of which are nearly 2 %. And some of these
have a last used date either way in the past or missing altogether.
I would like to remove these indexes to buy some breathing space.
Is it safe to do so ? Can I believe the last used date ?
