Problem installing 4.6C IDES
Dear Satid,I've had exactly the same problem, but not with IDES but with a BW installation
on V5R1
On V4R5 all went well. But on V5R1 it was hell.
Eventually I was able to install BW, but it was unclear what solved the problem.
Here is a list of the things I did, but as told before, it is still unclear to
me what did the trick:
rename the new kernel lib, and use the newest 995 4.6d kernel;
apply or not apply r3setup fix to resetup lib
delete the install directory, start all over again with another kernel library
name, but leave the old previous kernel.
It was after this that r3setup could not find the kernel lib, after renaming
kernel libs all went suddenly well.
Sometimes you have luck with sap, and it works!
