Page Faults - Anyway to reduce SAP Storage to Reduce Page Faults

I do not want to confuse the issue, but I feel that running SAP
in *BASE is a mistake. SAP code likes to take over the world.
Anything you try to run in the same storage pool as SAP will
die. Of course, if you have a big enough engine and enough
main memory, you can do anything. I am sure that there will
be some people that read this and not agree with me. Originally
I did try running in *BASE and eventually ended up with the setup
below.

We are a two tier shop. As I speak we have 289 users logged on
with 621 modes. Our response times range from good to acceptable.

pool size maxact
1 600 +++++
2 624 200
3 500 200
4 70 100
5 4350 200

Pool 1 is the machine pool.
Pool 2 is *base (qbatch, qinter, qsnads, qserver)
Pool 3 (ali400, qvi400, qcmn, qsyswrk,qusrwrk)
Pool 4 (qspl)
Pool 5 R3_03

I would like to have more memory for pool 5, but this setup works the
best for us.

Take care..... Charlie
