Setting up VPN access to SAP
Hi Chris,
Thanks for your speedy reply. This looks good, however, I apparently
misunderstood my network admin. This documentation from the web site you
listed seems to cover remote connectivity to Walldorf via a VPN. We need
to allow our own VPN client users to access our local SAP instance through
a VPN tunnel. We must write VPN rules so that their traffic is allowed
into our network. Those rules must contain the port numbers that SAP uses
to transmit and receive data packets.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go to the web page http://service.sap.com/saprouter-sncdoc There is a link
there for SAProuter and SNC connections, including using VPN. You will
have
to use your OSS id to get in.

Our network admin is trying to set up a Virtual Private Network. We want
to grant access to SAP via VPN tunnel. Can anyone tell us the port numbers
we should add into our VPN rules so that this traffic is allowed?
