Material Master views - security
Hi Karl,I saw your suggestion about creating object M_MATE_STA and tried to use it to
solve a chalenge I had in allowing a user to maintainf ONLY storage bin number
using MM02. This gives him access to MMBE (Stock over view) from the menu. How
can I limit
the user to ONLY the storage bin number change view and nothing else.
Thanks for help.

K.M.,
yes. You have to create the object M_MATE_STA twice in the activity group.
The first object controls the actions for the MRP view.
The second object controls the actions for the purchasing and the other
views you need.
You can insert as many authorizations as you need via Edit --> insert.auth
--> insert manually --> click on MM_G --> click on M_MATE_STA --> insert
chosen.

Karl,
Would it be possible to do something like this?
Allow to change MRP view but only display views of Purchasing, Basic
Data and Sales - all in one activity group.
