Peter,

Ik heb net dezelfde opmerking, maar dan wel beperkt tot 30.000 locks (slechts 1
systeem). Ik denk niet dat het erg is en dat het puur een informatie message is.
Mocht je toch een oplossing binnen krijgen, laat je me dan iets weten?

Waarom leg je trouwens elke dag SAP stil? Dat hoeft echt niet. Met de basis
functionaliteit van save while active kan je perfect een geslaagde backup maken.
Wij doen dit nu al 4 jaar. Als je hierover informatie wil, vraag het gerust.

Hi,

I have some problem with the backup of our system, I'm using the standard AS/400
backup and the SAP system is stopped before
the backup is started.
The backup looks OK, but i always receive following message.


Message ID . . . . . . : CPI1466 Severity . . . . . . . : 10
Message type . . . . . : Information
Date sent . . . . . . : 28/03/02 Time sent . . . . . . : 04:49:32

Message . . . . : Job holds large number of locks.
Cause . . . . . : The job 152565/QSYSOPR/QEZBKTMTHU has 60000 locks. 60000
is a suspiciously large number of locks, and it indicates that an
application may be leaving locks behind.

Anyone knows how to solve this ??

( 60000 -> We are running DEV and PRO on 1 box, but both are stopped at the
same time)
