CPI1466 during Backup

Volker: during our early testing, we found that we could get our checkpoint
more quickly using *SYNCLIB than *LIB, even when saving only one library. Is
that no longer true, or did we come to the wrong conclusion from our testing?

Hi Peter,

that's quite normal, but you only need to change the SAVLIB command as I
described or the BRMD control group from *SYNCLIB to *LIB, then everything
is fine.
SAVLIB SAVACT(*SYNCLIB)
=>
SAVLIB SAVACT(*LIB)
