SQL error 9998 occurred when accessing table " MARC "
Hi Bernd,did you already install the latest version of the DBINCON from sapserv ?
Because for V5R1 the patched version is necessary, otherwise it fails
"sometimes", not always.
Did you really have errors like CPF9898 with CPFB752 ?
This should only occur on APPL-servers and is fixed with PTF SI02670.
If you don't have appl-servers, please let me know.
With appl-servers you should definetely read and apply the note 450351.

We had plenty similar errors recently. Hoping for a quick fix we applied the
latest kernel patches (4.6D lvl 1063) and OS PTFs (V5R1). So far so good.
Unfortunately we didn't have time to investigate because we have to be live
with this installation on Tuesday.
By the way, after applying the kernel patches pgm DBINCONDB4 was buggy (DB
connect not possible via TMS), so I restored the old version.
