Yes,You need an installation version (upgradeversion will also not work)- you
must order it at SAP if you do not have it.
You say you are at the COM version so you should order the install of SR1 -
but ordinary 3.1I will also work (you should use the method of homogenneous
system copy. Follow note 36862 - first you create the new system with the
install, then after point 3 go to point 15 and after that return to step 4.
After completing make a copy of an updated kernel and apply it to the new
system.
Just done this tree times works every time

Yes ! ... but on my CD 31I_COM kernel there are only centrbd.r3s and
dialog.r3s.
