job logs in IFS
Hi
I came across something that might be of interest. At a client site
they had 240 000+ objects in the IFS directory
/usr/sap/<SID>/global/<client number>JOBLG/
These were small files but there were very many of them. We deleted
them with the IBM deltree utility and scheduled job RSBTCDEL to run
every day and delete any job log over 30 days old.
Shows the value of scheduling the clean up jobs.
