R: Question about SAP Instance Recovery

Yes, we have a scenario like yours and some days ago , for a logical problem on
some customizeg procedure, we have restored our old R3<sid>DATA and we have
updated it with APYJRNCHGX from IBM. All works fine. Some detailed information
can be found in IBM redbook SG244672 (the best technical publication that I have
readed, as all IBM redbooks!!).
