EBCDIC to ASCII & WAS - Questions Questions Questions

Hi Michael

We will be nearing that mark in early summer 2003 - which is when we
intend to upgrade.

We currently are running 2 840's with MiMiX replicating the SAP DB
between them, so our disk requirement will be double.!!

This does mean that we can backup our system offline with out user
downtime as all we do is backup our backupo machine.

for a backup strategy, we are looking into either multiple 3590's or
migrating them into a 3494 tape library. If you beleive the press, we
should be able to backup 2TB in just over 40minutes!! (4 internal
tape drives)
