SAPconnect sounds similar to SAPcomm - hence the confusion.
SAPcomm was the predecessor to SAPconnect. It was an additional piece of
software, with an additional license fee.
SAPconnect is part of SAP R/3 (or any ABAP-based SAP application, I
suppose), included in the license.
