New SAPGui?

Robert,

We used to have slow response times but things seem ok now. I average
probably 4 to 8 seconds per page. Our download times could be faster I think
but overall, it is a lot better that what it was from about June of last
year. Our internet line is a T1 going from our SAP building to our
corporate headquarters building (approximately 3 miles up the road). We
only use 1.5 mg. of 3 mg. availability for the line and internet access from
our site.

Volker,

Thanks for the response.

Our performance with SAPNet is slow regardless of how we access it
(whether thru direct access or via the www.SAP on System i.com site).
Moreover, it is the only site with which we have had any performance
issues; therefore, I do not believe it is a firewall issue. Other
members of the group have expressed slow performance issues with
SAPNet in the past on this forum but I don't know if they are still
experiencing it. Perhaps someone will post and let us know of their
experience.

I, personally could use any information about the availability of
SAPGui releases and maintenance dates. It seems easier to find what
we need via www.SAP on System i.com if for no other reason than the
better performance.

The CD number would help if you can find it for me. I just don't
have the time to waste looking for it.

Thanks, again.

Robert Clay
