Any ".LOC" or ".LOB" entries in /sapmnt/trans/tmp? I know that these type
of "locks" will cause later jobs to hang, but I don't know if they will
keep you from ending the job.

Any problem with locked user profiles or bad passwords?

Thank Louis,

This seem not to be the problem. The files TBATG, TRBAT, TRJOB are empty.
Tha last RDDIMPDP was runnig at 8 a clock this norming (ended normal)
If I start transaktion STMS a TP job is initialized in the substem. When I
finshed this session the TP-Job is always aktiv.
If you try to stop this job with option 4 (immed) this job goes to status
end but will never end so I stoped it with ENDJOBABN.

regards
Thomas

From back in beginning of September last year when someone else had
problems
like these ... Louise Moloney suggested note 71353 ... and I suggested:
Check if RDDIMPDP jobs (general 1 and 1 per client) are scheduled properly
in the background ... I have seen it happen that the client-dependent 1 was
NOT properly scheduled and this only becomes problem during transport with
client-dependent matter in it ... either that or a previous transport
abended, leaving running tp or R3trans and in that case you will have to do
all the checks for a crashed tp as described in some chapter about error
handling in the upgrade docu ...

This last case means making sure no more tp's are running on the OS level,
stopping RDD* jobs that think they are running but aren't (SM37 check
status), clean-out TBATG, TRBAT and TRJOB, check and possibly remove
corresponding files from /usr/sap/trans/tmp and then try a first tp import
again and hopefully/normally all runs OK again ...

Hope this helps, Louis.

Hi group,

just a small problem for you.
There are no more transports going into our Q-system.
If you look at the system screen in STMS it looks like the transportsystem
is runnig.
But it is always on the same transport job.
A lot of TP jobs in WRKACTJOB in status end. They can only be ende with
ENDJOBABN.
In the TP-systemlog the last entry is from 8 a clock this morning.
In the TP monitor it tells me that 3 TP proccesses with 3 different
transports are runnig.
We restarted the system one time but nothing changed.

Every help is welcome.

Regards
Thomas
