Ramon,not much details you provide, but look into CPYFRMSTMF
As far as I recall you can have flat files in Excel format as well.
However, you may run into trouble if your database requires packed fields,
then you may want to create a tmp file with zoned fields for the upload and
then merge the data via CPYF

I have a question about copying a file from IFS to Physical File. We have
this flatfile that we received from our client and I want to copy it to a
