Kernel Patch
Patched Kernel to patch level 1400 over the weekend. Followed Note49365 on serveral modules. When I tried to patch R3CPIC and R3RFC I
got the following errors in the AS400 job log..
Save file R3CPIC in library KERNELSAVF does not contain the program
R3INSTFIX to run.
You have to do the import steps manually.
I got this same error for both R3CPIC and R3RFC.
I went ahead and put the Patched Kernel in hoping that it would
continue to user the older version of R3CPIC and R3RFC, but one of
our RFC TCPIP SERVER_EXEC connections would not test SM59. Went
back to the original Kernel and it works OK.
What are the manual steps or is there a fix for this?
Has any one had this problem...?
