SAP reorganization questions
Hi Tom,There is a big difference between batch and interactive mode if the
interactive CPW is pretty low.
For the DEV and QAS systems, we executed the reorg jobs in interactive
mode. It doesn't take a long time, and it is easy to start SAP within
the CL program.
For the PRD system, we divided the tables to several groups and write CL
programs to reorg the tables. (load the table names from DB02 -> Excel
file -> Text file -> QDLS -> PF -> CL program) It significantly reduced
the runtime. And we noticed a big performance gain after the reorg jobs
were submitted (batch) instead of called (interactive).
