U can run all OS/400 CL commands in one or two 5250 sessions
(preferably in the console session) WITHOUT needing the Interactive
CPW.
Many of the system maintenance functions are also available from
Operations Navigator (preferably V5R1 or V5R2) which does NOT need
interactive CPW (except 5250 session emulation).
To run SQL statements, U can use SQL Script session from Operation
Navigator instead of 5250 session. U can download the paper "Piloting
DB2 UDB for iSeries with Operations Navigator in V5R1" (or V5R2) from
