WP restarts after upgrading kernel
We had the same thing happen to us yesterday after applying 1400 to ourproduction system. All the wp restarts were tied to our ITS user. We've
since downgraded back to 1330, and the problem is gone. We are waiting
for the next patch after 1419, as we were informed by SAP that 1419
would not fix the issue.
The messages we were receiving in our dev traces were:

just implemented this into my DEV instance and so far no issues but then
again, my DEV instance has absolutely ZERO user activity. Are you
running
V5R1 because I only planned on using kernel patch 1419 because I thought

had to in order to upgrade my DEV/TST machine to V5R1 this weekend?

Subject: WP restarts after upgrading kernel
Over the weekend, I upgraded to the latest kernel patch level
(1419). Now we are seeing a great many work process restarts for
all our dialog processes. Most work processes have restarted over
100 times since Sunday. The update, background, and spool work
processes do not seem to have this error. In the developers trace, I
am seeing MCH3402 errors. I posted a high priority OSS message
early yesterday morning but I have seen no response. I was
wondering if anyone else has seen this issue after upgrading to this
kernel patch level? Unfortunately, I will probaly have to back out
the kernel tonight and then SAP will not be able to see the problem
happening.
