in general yes.

You need an updated kernel and the O4WRKLIB patch. Then it should work.

Are type 2 directories are already supported with V5R2? We are getting
ready for a major release upgrade on 150 systems starting around
beginning of March this year. I want to avoid that as part of the
upgrade we also convert the IFS to type 2.

made an error in the saprel-patch.

This new patch is under way, but may take some more days.

Hi group,



After installing V5R2 on our testserver we receive the dump
START_CALL_SICK in the R/3 system. The transaction SICK shows us that
our kernel is not supported with Release V5R2.



We are on Release 40B Patch Level 969 and we have opened an oss ticket
(0120050409 0000117851 2003) on this. Patch Level 953 is necessary for
V5R2.



Did anyone experience this problem before?
