STOP PM400

We were just recently looking at our SAP EarlyWatch Alert report and there
was a section in there that mentioned that the report would be missing
statistics from a couple of our servers. The fix for that was to make sure
SAPOSCOL was running on those servers which seemed to confirm what Volker
was saying about the CRTPFRDTA and QYPSPFRCOL jobs being necessary. It also
referenced note 19227 which was talking about incorrect stats also.

Karl,

I'm not sure that those jobs are triggered and/or are needed by
SAPOSCOL. We run RSCOLL00 hourly and these 2 OS jobs do not run on our
systems.

I inactivated PM400 corresponding to Doreen's recommendations without
ending
manually CRTPFRDTA and QYPSPFRCOL.
As Volker mentioned these jobs are needed for SAPOSCOL.
But these jobs are creating members in QMPGDATA every day for ex. files
qapmjobl, qapmjsum, qapmpoolb etc.
When could these members be deleted - daily, weekly, monthly ?
Who have to delete these members - a standard job, a self-written
CL-program ?

What is your advice and experience ?
