Hi Christian,

you should better stay on your old kernel in PRD. In the other environment, it
shouldn't be a big problem with the new kernelas long as you don't have a lot of
load on that systems, as you detected no problems right now.

Hi Volker,

we are running 1400 since Monday in our development and test system; right now
we have no problems. We are planning to install 1400 on Sunday on our productive
system. As you posted, we shall better not do that.

On productive we are running 1152, 1385 is not available, so:    what shall we
do?????

Hi all,

currently we are facing unfortunately a problem with the 4.6D kernel patch for
EBCDIC and ASCII with 1400 and 1419.
In especially productive systems, this kernel creates a lot of restarts of WPs
with MCH4417 or MCH3402.

We are about to remove this kernel from the Service Marketplace and sapserv. The
correction will appear hopefully next week.

Please use the older kernel, that you are having right now or the old version
1385, that is currently unfortunately not available. If you need urgent a new
kernel, let us know, then we will discuss what to do.
