SXC 1.54
Additional information concerning the problem Chris & myself areexperiencing.
We have just installed the SXC 1.54 on an NT 4.0 Server. We have
managed to get all services starting successfully on the exchange
server, however we are having problems with the RFC connection in
our R/3 4.6C. We have entered the following information in SM59:-
Name SXC_OUT
Description SXC Test e-mail
Connection type T
Activation type Registration
Program ID SXC
Gateway host eitstsap.nmhgmcz1
Gateway service sapgw00
The eitstsap.nmhgmcz1 is the host name for the exchange server. The
ac4sap02 and sapgw01 is the hostname for the AS400 hostname and
gateway
It is failing with the following information.
ERROR Partner not reached(host eitstsap.nmhgmcz1,service sapgw00)
LOCATION Gateway on host ac4sap02.nmhg.com / sapgw01
DETAIL NiPConnect2
CALL SO_ERROR
COMPONENT NI (network interface)
COUNTER 15795
ERROR TEXT A remote host refused an attempted connect operation.
ERROR NUMBER 3425
MODULE nio4i.c

Initially we thought the problem was on the set up of the RFC
connection, but now we believe the problem lies on the Exchange
server. We have an entry for sapgw00 in the services file on the
exchange server but still get the same error as above even when we
perform a niping -c -H eitstsap.nmhgmcz1 -S sapgw00 from a PC.
