Printing to PDF
I am currently working on a task to start e-mailing many of oursales documents to customers. I appear to have this working as I
can now configure our order acknowledgements to come over as PDF
attachments in an e-mail. When reviewing OSS for this task, I found
several notes that discuss printing to PDF. One such OSS note is
317851. I do not understand how this functionality is to be used.
Does this mean when I send spool output to an output device set up
with the the device type of ZPDF1 that I will get a PDF file created
somewhere? If so, where does the file get placed. I could see this
being very useful functionality but I am not sure how it is suppose
to work. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
