Also,You need to consider where the GUI History files are located at on the PC.
We ran into this type of problem when we upgraded user's PC's to WIN2000 and
took away admin. rights to the PC's. To resolve this problem, we:
Installed the GUI to a directory other than in Program Files.
Made sure all users have create/write authority for files within the SAP
directory folder for history.
Also look at OSS note# 52886.

Hi all,
as you know there is a historie of the input filed of SAPGUI.
And I don't know why, on some workstations this historie work and on some
not. All this workstatiosn are configured one as the other.
Somtimes it happens that this history is there and when you update the
SAPGUI this functionality is gone.
Do some one of you have a solution or a workaround for this ?
