Anyone on 4.7 ??????
Hi,Copy of release strategy below - And as Volker wrote some days ago (and
read note 599700) 4.6B can be upgraded to 4.7 (I a two step upgrade). As
Volker also wrote today 4.7 seems to run pretty stable - witch was no
surprise as core is about 95% similar to 4.6C

We have discussed it, but I think the GA is scheduled for third
quarter of 2003 so that probably won't fit our time table to get to a
version that will be supported longer than 46B. Does this GA coincide
with what you think it is?
Our experience of jumping in at the first release of BW 3.0B (also
based on 6.20 and I presume 4.7) was rather painful, although at this
point SAP and IBM have gotten us to a pretty stable state.
