Problems starting SAP after applying Kernel Patch 1444

Hi Nilsa,

I normally fix the Signature Violations by rebinding the service
program to the main program. You would do that on OS level with the
following command:

UPDPGM PGM(STRSAP) MODULE(*NONE) BNDSRVPGM(KERNELLIB/OPRTLIB)

You can check what signatures a program has with the DSPPGM STRSAP,
then press enter (4 times). On that screen you see all the bound
service programs with their resprective signatures.

You can check the signatures for service programs with command
DSPSRVPGM LIBRFC then press enter (3 times).

Using the above 2 command will show if the service program in
question exists with the correct signature on your AS/400.

I hope this will resolve your problem.

Gerd
