Upgraded V5R1 -> V5R2 in production Applicatio n servers are showing high CPU usage
From a prior posting to the list I thought I read something that it wouldnot work. I didn't risk it myself but upgraded two of my systems from
OptiMover to OptiConnect when I went from V4R5 to V5R1 (the other was
already running OptiConnect). You should contact you IBM sales person to
confirm this but if I remember right this may be one of the options that you
can run for 70 days before you buy it. The upgrade cost me about $10K for
the two systems. Also, in V5R2 the software is part of the base load and
not a separate CD.

Note: The PRPQ 5799FWQ for Optimover is no longer supported
at V5R2. You will have to purchase the licensed program
product 5722SS1 option 23 for Opticonnect if you wish to
use Opticonnect at V5R2.

Does anybody use this and will it still work? I plan to go from V4R5 to V5R2
this weekend but this could put a hold on my plans.
Unsupported but works?? or Unsupported and does not work??
Does anybody use the 5722SS1 Option 23?
