End Journaling during client copy
Hi Jenny,I ended journalling once and could not start SAP after doing it. But
I would suggest changing the journal so that a receiver is deleted by
the system after being detached. These receivers would be of little
use anyway. CHGJRN r3xxxdata/qsqjrn DLTRCV(*YES) Just remember to
set it back when your client copy is done.
One thing I have considered is to schedule a delete client over a
weekend before doing a client copy. I believe the delete portion of
the client copy consumes at least half of the time. This is assuming a
copy over an existing client. And the delete would not have much
impact over a running system.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Pat
