End Journaling during client copy

Jenny,
SAP will not run if journaling is ended. The command:
CHGJRN JRN(R3xxxDATA/QSQJRN) MNGRCV(*SYSTEM) DLTRCV(*YES)
will at least delete the journals when the fill up automatically on your
Dev / QA systems.

Hi Pat,

thanks for your advise. It's useful for me.

The journal increased to overflow if I didn't delete it during client
copy. Somebody told me that the R/3 on UNIX can end log during client
copy, so I thought that...

Your advise solved my problem of journal increasing during client
copy.

Time is critical problem for us in client copy. We could do it only
at night. Do you know how could we tuning the performance of client
copy ? We have not enough time to do remote client copy from product
system to develop/test system.

Thanks and Best Regards.

Jenny
