Re: APYR3FIX on
an SAP on System i OS400 V5R2

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your suggestions. I resolved that issue using Jim Doll's help.
Now I am getting an error that says "data area kernel not found". I used
WRKDTAARA to look for this data area
and it is not on the system. I am trying to update my 45B kernel from patch
level 488 to
patch level 840. Could this require a CD or can I do it with a download. Is
there a note
that shows the correct base level for the patch I am trying to apply.

Best regards,
Berhanu

Hi Berhanu,

I would have a look to APYR3FIX on your complete system. I could
guess, that are having something in R3QTEMP or in PCHsid. I fully
agre, that this lib r345bnew might be ok, but at least one program
and i guess we check on apyr3fix was found in another lib in the
LIBL!
So, you should be able to fix it ...

Regards

Volker

When I remove the current kernel from the library list I get an
error that says APYR3FIX not found.
