GUI reconnect

Hi,
look in note 142.724: the Profilparameter rdisp/gui_cleanup_delay says to the
application server how long a disconnected sessions is to be active. On our
system the parameter is 0, so I think a disconnected session is cleaned away
immediatly.

Hi Des,

Unfortunately and with my knowledge there is no way to 'copy' sessions
anymore in 4.6C ( 4.6A had a working version of copy session ). The
main reason is the presence of a lot of .ocx objects in the screen
desing of main transactions of the R/3 system, this objects are local
to the GUI and the app server does not track them so there is no way to
recover the previous state after a crash.

4.6A implemented copy session but just worked for the transactions that
not contained any ocx object like SM50, which is a report.

This is the price that we pay for 'design'.

Best regards,
Joan
