Printing to IBM6400 via network
Hi All,We have a number of sapscripts and reports that are printing to our
IBM6400 printers via outqueues on the AS/400, we want to be able to
print to them directly via the LAN.
We have set up the printer on a windows 2000 server and configured it
in SPAD with a copy of device type IBM6408 and the printer is set to
PROPRINTER III XL emulation.
We want to create a new page format that will change various settings
such as the characters per inch and lines per etc. to get the
sapscript to print to the correct size on it's pre-printed form.
However, I am having difficulty finding the right hex codes to get
the sapscript to print the way I want.
We have a copy of the ASCII Programmers Reference Manual that gives
us the ASCII codes to use but I'm not sure how to enter them
correctly in SAP.
If anybody has currently got this working can they send me some info,
