starting the upgrade assistant in AS/400
Hello All,We are currently doing a test upgrade on a sandbox system but are
having issues trying to connect to the upgrade assistant from an
Internet browser. We have R/3 4.6C and are installing the Discrete
industries addon.
I have read the note 161669 but this appears to be one step of where
we are. I have just entered server and got message "Waiting for R/3
Upgrade Assistant Server (UaServer) to connect at port number
4240 ...
Do we need to execute the command jre / jview on the AS400 before
attempting to connect to the upgrade assistant using a browser?
We don't appear to have jre / jview on the AS400, do we need to
install one of these
Any help would be uch appreciated.
