Hello Group,
Could anyone tell me if their SAP_REORG_UPDATERECORDS job currently runs
in the background. I'm only concerned with those SAP customers who are
running at or past Basis Support Pack level 33. I recently applied Basis
support packs 33-45 for SAP R/3 46C in my TST instance and now the reorg
job in question fails becuase it can no longer be run in background. I've
opened a ticket regarding this, and also referenced note 67014, and my
first level of support is pretty much telling me that there is nothing
that can be done. He said SAP changed this job so that it can not be run
in background and this change was put into Basis SP33. Maybe I'm selfish,
but I would rather not have to wake up everyday at 12:30AM just so that I
can run this job. Thanks for the input.
