Recovering from damaged objects

Hi,

I put the file CHKPF.zip to the file area at:
http://groups.consolut.net/group/SAP on System i/files/

This is a tool from IBM (IT?), that checks any PF for corruption with
an easy CPYF and checking for errors.
Unfortunately it is NOT sufficient to issue backups. I thought this
would work fine as well till last year, but is does definetely NOT.
You have to run this tool immediately completely.
If you encounter damaged files - what I expect - you will have to
open a ticket at SAP and report the table names.
(BSIS would be fine, because we can recover this from RFBLG, but this
is not always the cased for other tables)
As you seem to have no backup, this is pretty bad and we have to see,
what we can do for you.
... Perhaps to live with a few inconsistencies,

Regards

Volker

Thanks.
