4.6C Upgrade SPDD Modification Adjustment

Hi Philip!

SPDD is the SPAU for dictionary objects. As this is the
foundation for everything, SPDD comes first and then SPAU
pops up... Nothing unusal BTW, you can get both lists when
applying a simple patch. It depends on the modifications
made by your collegues...

1. This is mostly on the programmers' side.
They have to decide what to do with their modifications.

2. The transport is for the productive upgrade where you can
give it to R3UP and it will proceed as specified. This should
resolve all the modifications transported to the prod system.
Should, I said!

3. Sorry, can 't explain this. See Answer 1. They should know.

I have a few questions regarding this.

1. Does Basis usually figure out and decided changes to dictonary
objects that the programming folks changed? Or, is this more a group
effort?

2. When I mark object "return to SAP standard", the system is asking
me for a change request. Since the active version is the new 4.6C
objects(from the upgrade), why would i need to transport "return to
SAP standard" objects to my downstream systems? Aren't they already
returned to SAP standard.

3. Does anyone know what the "adjust modification" button is for? I
have found no documentation on this button?
