Info about CAR command

check for a symbolic link to the sapcar program in /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run.
There should be an entry for sapcar and sapcaras4.

Hi All,

I have loose the link of CAR command.........the LOAD PACKAGE FROM
FRONTEND with SPAM transaction tell me:

There is no decompression software installed on the application server
Message no. TN 715

Diagnosis
There is no decompression software installed on the application server
in the $(DIR_EXECUTABLE) directory.

System Response
The file was saved on the application server in the $(DIR_TRANS)/tmp
directory.

Procedure
Install the CAR decompression software from your kernel CD.


Can anyone tell me the STEPS to resolve this problems......I use SAPCAR
from 5250...but I want use the SPAM transaction only and load package
from frontend.
