Hi all,are there any benefits like improved access time in
using *TYPE2??

can find here the steps to convert IFS to
*TYPE2.....we have already performed it without any
problems with SAP R/3....you must only check to have
the last SAP KERNEL level that support IFS *TYPE2...

I have another V5R2 upgrade question. Has anyone
converted their IFS
files to the new TYPE2 format after upgrading to V5R2?
I searched
OSS and this forum but I did not find anything related
to this
topic. I would think that we would still want to do
this and it
would not cause problems with SAP.
