Import transport name longer than 10 digit
Hi Philip,What the 3rd party said this long format is for SAP Enterprise. In fact, I have
tried to rename the transport to RA90103.SAS and import it but I failed.
Right now in the cofiles and data are having the same names: KA90103INSAS.SAP
and RA90103INSAS.SAP. I was told I could use the following command to import it
and SAP should be able to take this long name but it also failed.
tp 'addtobuffer SAPKA90103INSAS DV1 pf=\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_DV1.PFL
-D"nbufform=true" -D"tp_version=264"'
tp 'import SAPKA90103INSAS client 000 pf=\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_DV1.PFL
-D"nbufform=true" -D"tp_version=264"'

Ed,
What are the names of the data and cofile? Are they KA90103.SAP and
RA90103.SAP or DA90103.SAP. If so, maybe the INSAS is just something
the third party appended to the file name they sent you. I would
take a look at the actual data and cofile and go from there.
