Hi,

you really can run the SolMan on the platform of your choice what is
obviously in your case the AS/400.
As the SolMan normally is relatively "quite" in terms of ressource
usage, I would recommend, to run it parallel on your dev-server in
the same LPAR. Otherwise you lose too much CPU in the SolMan LPAR.
To have it in the Dev-System and not PRD system means that you can
let yourself send messages when PRD is down ...
