Are you logged onto the PRD system directly, and specifying the actual physical
directory, making sure you are not specifying a symbolic link?

Hi Thomas,
You are right the transport directory is on another server which has PRD system
on it. I already have the SAP users on both
servers. When I try to use the command CHGAUT to give them access to IFS I get
"Function not supported by file system."

Hi,

it looks like that your files in the IFS are located on an other iSeries.
So first look that all necessary SAP users are on both systems and give
them access to the IFS files.
SAP<inst>, SAPOFR I think.

Hi Group,
I recenty moved my DEV and TST systems to an iSeries 810 server on V5R2
running R/3 45B. Now I am unable to import into TST. The transport log
tells me that program in RDDVERSL job terminated. The short dump starts
with - SQL error "-901" occurred when accessing table "E070TC ".
Also when I try to use the command CHGAUT on objects in IFS I get
"Function not supported by file system." What is the supported way of
changing authority
for objects in the IFS?
Thanks for any suggestions.
