Start Iseries and Windows Appl Server
Here are the commands to stop and start an application server on NT. I use thesecommands in a DTS package in SQL Server to start and stop my system. Since you
are running on an AS400 you would have to find another way to run them. I hope
this helps.
Stop SAP
Stops the SAP Instance TSA for the restore.
Command
Win32 process C:\usr\sap\TSA\sys\exe\run\stopsap.exe
Parameters name=TSA nr=28 SAPDIAHOST ntabssap
C:\usr\sap\TSA\sys\exe\run\stopsap.exe
Is the location of the program to stopsap program for the TSA system.
name=TSA nr=28 SAPDIAHOST ntabssap
name=TSA is the system being stopped
nr=28 Is the instance number
SAPDIAHOST ntabssap Is the name of the computer that SAP is running on
Start SAP
This will start the SAP System TSA.
Command

After a restart from our Database Server(Iseries)i must manuell start
our Application Server(Windows).
Does anyone have a solution´do to this automatically?
And use anyone 2 Instances on one Windows Appl Server?
