Searching within notes via SAPNET

In process of reasearching an issue I have, and lately I'm trying to
force myself to use SAPNET instead of the OSS frame connection we
have, since I figure SAP will force us from that at some point. I'm
finding that once I bring up a note, from the Explorer window,
an 'Edit/find' will not find anything within the contents of the
note I have displayed. I also do not see any search function on the
displayed note page. Is this working this way for everyone else?
or do I have an Explorer problem? or is SAP simply not providing a
means to search within a note?
