Performance data
Hi, group.
I'm not sure whether this is configured in SAP somewhere or only on the OS
level. I have configured the PM400 (Performance Monitor), that is a
standard IBM product, to purge the performance data every day. I have also
set up a PM collection to collect performance data on a 15 minute interval.
What I find happening, though, is that the performance data never seems to
get purged/deleted unless I do it manually. I have also noticed that, even
if I stop the PM400 collection, the performance data still grows. I imagine
it is because of the SAPOSCOL that is running that the data keeps
accumulating.
My question is, how can I automate the purging of the performance data in
library QMPGDATA on a daily basis?
